The annual wonderland of 19th Century holiday decorations at the Col. William Bond/Jesse Hawley House (c. 1824) in Lockport will be open for additional viewings this year. The public will be able to experience ‘A Winter’s Eve Fest’ on three days in 2023: Thursday, December 7th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm; Sunday, December 10th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm; and Saturday, December 16th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Guests will be able to explore all 12 rooms, adorned for the season in period decorations, of the oldest brick house in Niagara County as the house enters its 200th birthday year. They will walk in the footsteps of former owners Col. William Bond, Jesse Hawley and Kate Chase Seymour, as they enjoy the house these early Lockportians called home.

‘A Winter’s Eve Fest’ is free and open to the public. (Donations to the Historical Society are gratefully accepted.) Reservations are not required but guests can call the NCHS at (716) 434-7433 with questions or for directions.
