School Program Options

Museum Tour Only
A tour of the Niagara County Historical Society five building museum complex. Time: 1.5 hours. Lunch and Gift Shop available. Admission fees are $2 per students and chaperones; no charge for teachers.
Erie Canal Discovery Center Only
A tour of the Erie Canal Discovery Center. Gift Shop will be available. Call regarding lunch arrangements. Time: 45 minutes to one hour. Admission fees are $4 per students and chaperones; no charge for teachers.
Col. William Bond/Jesse Hawley House Tour Only
A tour of the 1824 National Register home and the oldest brick house in Lockport. Three floors of furnished rooms to the mid 19th century period. Time: 45 minutes to one hour. $2 for students and chaperones; no charge for teachers.
Museum and Discovery Center Tour
This includes a tour of the History Center of Niagara County museum complex, and a tour of the Erie Canal Discovery Center. Lunch and Gift Shop facilities available. Time: 2 hours. Admission fees are $6 per student and chaperones; no charge for teachers.
Museum and Bond House Tour
This includes a tour of the Museum complex and the Col. Bond House. Lunch and Gift Shop facilities available. Time: 2.5 hours. Admission fees are $4 per students and chaperones; no charge for teachers.
Discovery Center and Bond House Tour
This includes a tour of the Discovery Center and the Col. Bond House. Gift Shop available. Call ahead to discuss lunch arrangements. Time: 2 hours. Admission fees are $6 per students and chaperones; no charge for teachers.
Tour of All Three Museums
Time: 3 hours (not including lunch break). Admission fees are $8 per students and chaperones; no charge for teachers.
Hands-on activities can be arranged for an additional $1 per student. There is no additional cost for chaperones and teachers. Activities include old time toys and games, artifact detective, creating an Erie Canal business sign, and historic photo analysis. Other activities may be available through special arrangement.
